Victoria County Creates is open year round and houses the work of over 70 artists. A wide range of items big and small, both functional and purely artistic. A world of wonder for someone looking for the perfect gift, especially during the holidays. Here are ways to stay in touch:
Our Artist In Residence program brings in talented people from all over to have you watching in awe of their artistic skill, if not participating in their craft yourself. We host art workshops, afternoons of crafting and more.
The idea for Victoria County Creates (VCC) was born in the Spring of 2016 by a group of community members who saw the need for an arts center in Victoria County, Cape Breton Island. Starting as a small store with 25 local artists, VCC now features over 70 artisans and makers, offers new workshop space and is staffed by the artists themselves.
