A Victoria Country resident for over 40 years, Paul Cranford is a retired Lighthouse Keeper who has been publishing music for Cape Breton fiddlers since 1979.
An active fiddler, composer and recording artist he often plays in community concerts, pubs and sessions. He has been recognized by Celtic Colours as an Artist in Gesidence and by the global fiddling community as a past Patron of World Fiddle Day.
Paul’s passion is a lifetime publishing project which he calls The Cape Breton Musical Heritage Series. Currently 9 volumes of written musical notation are in print as individual books and three more are in the works.
